Tarique Rahman has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party and the Prime Minister by the members of the BNP parliamentary party. The newly elected members of the BNP parliament met at the parliamentary party meeting room after 11:30 am today (Tuesday, February 17).

Tarique Rahman was elected as the leader of the parliamentary party in the meeting. BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan told the media this information.

Earlier this morning, BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed confirmed the call for a parliamentary party meeting. Salahuddin Ahmed said that the parliamentary leader will be elected in this parliamentary party meeting. BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will be the Prime Minister as the leader of the majority party.
