Occupying Israel has attacked two of Iran's largest steel factories. The attacks took place on Friday (March 27) afternoon.
Iranian news agency Fars News said the Israeli air force carried out airstrikes on Khuzestan Steel near Ahvaz and Mubarak Steel in Isfahan.
Both factories are partly owned by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It is feared that the attack on the steel factory will have a major negative impact on Iran's economy.
Israeli media outlet The Times of Israel reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the attack on the steel factory.
Earlier, Israel's Defense Minister said that they would intensify their attacks on Iran.
