The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is scheduled to be held in December this year. A new team is going to join this upcoming season. A new franchise has already applied to take the team under the name 'Noakhali Royals'. Which will be owned by a company named Shayans Global.

The franchise's owners submitted an application to the BCB on Monday to get a team in the BPL. They have applied to participate in the 11th edition by following all the BPL procedures.

On this day, Badal, a representative of Shayans Global, told the media, "There is a board meeting. In that board meeting, a decision will be made whether to take a new franchise or not, and if so, they will tell us what documents are required. We are fairly prepared from our side, we have prepared the documents that are required. We hope that they will accept our application and fulfill the dreams of the people of Noakhali."

In a letter sent to the BCB president on June 24, Cyan's Global said that in addition to taking the team to the BPL, they want to work to develop cricket in the Noakhali region.
