Liton Das is the new T20 captain of the national team. There has been talk for a long time that he will lead the team in this edition. He has been given the responsibility of captaincy until the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Spinner Mehidy Hasan has been named vice-captain for the upcoming T20I series in the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. Cricket Operations Chairman Nazmul Abedin announced their names in Mirpur this afternoon.
